The Spyderco Sage 6 REX 121 is far more than just another Sage. It combines one of Spyderco’s most refined platforms with one of the most extreme production blade steels ever made. After handling every Sage generation, I can confidently say this is the smoothest, most mechanically satisfying one yet. The Button Compression Lock is pure joy to operate, while the fit and finish from Spyderco’s Taichung factory are simply outstanding. This article is not a full review of the REX 121 steel, but rather my first impressions of what could well be one of the finest production EDC knives ever created.
