MagnaMax Manix Salt – V8 the road test.

Fifteen days of daily use have already revealed far more about MagnaMax than any laboratory test could. From slicing summer salads with wet, oily hands to carving dry hardwood and carefully reprofiling the edge, V8 has been pushed through the kind of work my knives actually perform. The results have been surprising. MagnaMax doesn’t feel like MagnaCut, nor does it behave quite like CPM M4 or K390. It has its own personality—one that seems to reward experimentation with edge geometry while delivering an aggressive, confidence-inspiring bite in wood. This isn’t a definitive review yet, but it’s the first real chapter in what promises to be a fascinating long-term test.
